| | | | | | The process of making a gemstone picture is a tedious and labor-intensive one.
Basically, there are two techniques.
The first is a embossed gemstone technique and the other is a behind-the-glass gemstone technique. In the first technique, a piece of plywood/plastic sheet is first coated with glue and small pieces of gemstones are then inlaid onto it individually.
In the second technique, a piece of glass sheet is first sketched with a outline of patterns and then the gemstones are then inlaid on the reverse side. Natural embossed gemstones can be seen with the first technique while intricate design of sketches is seen with the second one.
The frame holds many pieces of natural gem crystal such as ruby, sapphire, amethyst, spinel, peridot and etc.
You can view all of our in stock gemstone artwork by going to the "Shop RocksDiamondDeals" and selecting gemstone art followed by carvings.
